Emily Kay-Tillman
Owner and Director
Emily Kay Tillman, has been the proud Owner and Director of Fancy Feet
Dance Studio since 1991. For the past 19 years, she has taught and shared,
with thousands of students, a real love and passion for dance and performing.
Classically trained in dance, from the age of 5, Emily has studied
jazz, tap and was certified in each grade of Royal Academy of Dance
(R.A.D.) syllabus ballet. Emily has won numerous state and national awards
for her dance performances, including Miss California of the Young American Stars
and the 1991 Miss Palisades title. Her film and television credits include Tap,
starring Gregory Hines and Sammy Davis Jr., a co-starring roles on Fox's
"Buffy The Vampire Slayer", ABC's sitcom "Hughley's", and Melissa on MTV's
"Undressed". She has also starred in numerous national television commericals
including Tagamet, Hollywood Video, Sony Playstation, Pepsi, and WhiteCastle.
Emily's choreography has been featured in various noteable projects, such as
California Statewide Scholarshare commercial, Kids for Kids with Debbie Allen,
The Hughlies, It's All of Us, The Learning Curve, and numerous workshops, Master
classes, festivals, pageants and special events.
Emily is proud of her school, her incredible staff and her amazing students
and their parents. She believes that dancing and performing must come from the
heart and hopes to influence every young dancer with her passion for the arts.
